GENERAL DESCRIPTION
MODULAR SYSTEM FOR COMBINATION UNITS
The new, completely IMQ-certified, system by Scame has been mainly designed for industrial purposes.
It consists of two bases (module 106 and module 136), which can be provided with interlocked sockets made in two 16/32A and 63A containers.
The reduced number of versions in only two sizes is the solution to manifold planning and installing problems, assembling very few elements and easy maintenance.
VERSIONS
The whole ADVANCE 2 system is based on two standard
widths, 106 and 136 mm, which are produced in two
different modules:
- MODULO 106 here defined as “compact”
- MODULO 136 here defined as “large”
Both modules are also available in the HD (Heavy Duty)
version, which is made with high mechanical features
and resistant to chemical agents. It has been designed
for heavy use.
ADVANCE 2 System consists of the following:
- no. 2 modular supports having the sizes below:
106 x 434 (Compact)
136 x 584 (Large)
- Many connector blocks and set housing boxes with
modular length of 106 and 136 mm.

STRUCTURAL CHARACTERISTICS
The boxes are provided on all sides with knock-out
holes for M25 and M40 and are available in the
following versions:
- one-module blank
- two-module blank
- one-module with tinted window
- two-module with tinted window
- one-module with cutouts
(with provision for mounting 16 A and 32 A IEC309
Series flush-mounting socket outlets and socket
outlets for domestic applications).
The box with tinted window is provided with rail for 4,
6, 10 and 13 DIN modules (17.5 mm), suitable for holding
53, 68 and 90-mm high modular devices.
COMPATIBILITY
No problems of incompatibility has occurred with all
SCAME systems installed up to now for the innovative
ADVANCE 2 series.
This continuance is precious. In fact, it also allows
using the new range of products for the maintenance
of already existing interlocked batteries.
The ADVANCE 2 System cable inlet is of “METRIC” type;
on the contrary, the components of the ADVANCE and
OMNIA Systems and Series are of “PG” type.
Compatibility is anyway ensured, even if the metrical
inlets shall be adjusted to the PGs during the
installation.
For the OMNIA Series, we advise to use performances
with metrical inlet (cat. number .Mxxxx).
